1. Working women, who may be single, widowed, divorced, separated, married but whose husband or immediate family does not reside in the same city/area. Particular preference may be given to women from disadvantaged sections of the society. There should be also provision for reservation of seats for physically challenged beneficiaries.
2. Women who are under training for job provided the total training period does not exceed one year. This is only on the condition that there is vacancy available after accommodating working women. The number of women under training for job should not exceed 30% of the total capacity.
3. Girls up to the age of 18 years and boys up to the age of 5 years, accompanying working mothers will be provided accommodation, with their mothers. Working mothers may also avail of the services of the Day Care Centre, as provided under the scheme

• Ensure food supplied is consumed by only the Pregnant and Lactating women rather than the whole family
• Ensure that Pregnant and Lactating women consume 90+ Iron Folic Acid (IFA) tablets.
• Improve the enrollment of mothers at Anganwadi Centers (AWCs).
• Eliminate or decrease number of Pregnant and Lactating women with anaemia/ who are undernourished.
• Reduce the incidence of low birth babies and malnutrition among children.
• Ensure that Pregnant and Lactating women receive health check ups and immunization.
• Reduce the incidence of infant mortality and maternal mortality

The meal consists of Rice, Dhal, Oil, Egg, Vegetables (leafy vegetables potatoes, onions, beans etc.), Condiments and Milk (200 ml).

One Full Meal shall be served 25 days as spot feeding at Anganwadi Center (AWC).

30 Eggs shall be served per month where 25 days during spot feeding at AWC and Eggs will be given as per the model menu to the beneficiary.

Milk shall be served 25 days and another 5 days of milk will be served as curd along with rice and dal during spot feeding.

The cooked food would reach the Anganwadi centres by 11 am and it would be distributed to all the pregnant women by 12 noon.

Anganwadi Helper or in absence of the Anganwadi Helper a person identified by the Anganwadi Level Monitoring and Supported Committee (ALMSC) shall cook the “One Full Meal” and serve the food at the Anganwadi Centre.

IFA tablets shall be provided by ANM and will be administered along with the food by AWW.

OVERSEAS SCHOLARSHIP Telangana StateBC WELFARE DEPARTMENT GOVERNMENT OF TELANGANAMahatma Jyothiba Phule BC Overseas Vidya NidhiGovernment of Telangana is implementing a prestigious programme called “Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Overseas Vidya Nidhi Financial assistance for the benefit of poor BC & EBC students for higher education in foreign universities. “Mahatma Jyothiba Phule BC Overseas Vidya Nidhi” will be initially sanctioned to (300) BC Students every year and is open to all eligible graduates to pursue Post Graduate studies abroad. He/She should have a valid TOEFL/IELTS and GRE/GMAT scores with a age limit of less than (35) years and family income shall be less than Rs.5.00 lakhs per annum from all sources.Poor BC & EBC students1. The scholars will receive the living expenses which can also be used by the candidates for obtaining a Visa from the respective Embassy by way of a grant, subject to their joining into the course in the following way:
 Installment-I: An amount of INR 10.00 Lakh shall be payable to the Institution /students upon production of the landing permit / I-94 card (Immigration Card).
 Installment-II: An amount of INR 10.00 Lakh shall be payable to the Institution/students upon production of the 1st Semester results.
2. The student shall be eligible for an educational loan of INR 10.00 lakh from any Nationalized bank at prevailing rates of interest.
3. The awardees are permitted to supplement their prescribed allowances by undertaking the Research/Teaching Assistantship, thus, earnings from Research/Teaching Assistantship.
4. One way cheap ticket (Lower fare) by economy class through the shortest route shall be payable upon production of valid visa and admission particulars.
5. The total visa fees shall be reimbursed to the student upon production of a valid visa and production of receipts.
6. Utilization certificates shall be obtained from the student with the due endorsement of concerned university authorities for record purpose under the scheme.

In addition an ad-hoc grant of Rs. 750/- per student per annum to day scholars and Rs. 1000/- per student per annum to hostellers would be admissible. Besides this there are additional provisions of allowances for students amongst target groups with disabilities.

Books and stationery @ Rs. 3000/- per annum per student and (iv) a latest computer with accessories like UPS, Printer, Multi-media limited to Rs. 45000/- per student as one time assistance during the course. The Institute will procure computers and supply to the awardees. Alternatively, the Institute may also consider re-imbursement of expenses made by a student on Purchase of the computer. Limited Rs. 45,000/- provided, the computer and accessories are procured from a reputed manufacturer/supplier.
